The Shapeshifter

Made for the GMTK 2023 game jam, with the prompt of "Role Reversal."

You are a strange, amorphous changeling running away from something. Move as quickly as possible while rapidly swapping roles, class and gender, as you run through the houses of a local village. Make trade-offs between fast movement as your true form and stealthy movement mimicking the local folk.

Sprite art was primarily created in-house and made by co-author BumboBlast.

HOW TO PLAY:

This is a Godot project featuring an EXE and a PCK. Unzip the folder and execute the program to play.
